James,

I just shorted 200 shares at $117 3/4, to cover at $102.

Just want to add that I have plenty of room in my portfolio at this moment, plenty of cash and buying power. I am not being aggressive at all.

Breaking news to read today on the National Jeweler Web site,
national-jeweler.com...

** Fear of damaging a gem's treatment or being held liable for taking in a
stone that has been treated unbeknownst to the customer is making repair a
very tricky business, report retailers. Stores are turning to written
disclaimers, having customers sign "at their own risk" receipts and even
turning away business.

** Piercing Pagoda, the rapidly expanding jewelry kiosk operator, recently
purchased the operations of its sole licensee, Piercing Pagoda of Florida,
for a reported $11 million. In connection with the acquisition, which was
structured as a cash-for-stock purchase, the license agreement between the
two companies was terminated.

** Should you expand your diamond engagement ring display or increase your
stock of 0.5-carat stones? National Jeweler and Sovereign Marketing Research
suveryed 200 retailers and chain stores to find out what goods diamond
consumers crave. The survey found that diamond engagement rings lead over
fashion rings and earrings, and 0.5-carat to 1-carat sizes are most
frequently carried by retailers.
