in this era of investing PE is just one simple factor and sometimes not even counted; go look at yhoo, amzn, aol, elnk and many others and look at some old stogys like LTV, GLM and many others with pe of les than 10; PE for CIEN does not count as much as it's in the cutting edge of networking where IP/ATM direct over DWDM will dwarf the current DWDM mkt and there is a tremendous need for BW; see post of STRONG BUY for CIEN
