Hasn't AMZN formed a shooting star today? A possible reversal point?? I do agree with you that the next and more powerful leg of this bear market is soon to start. And given the background of LTCM debacle and Nikkei once again approaching the critical 13,500 level, this downturn could be pretty sharp. Of course, holding a lot of (now worthless) out-of-money October puts on AMZN, I am hoping for a 1929 type crash!! LOLOLOL Except given the insanity of internet bubble even if DJIA were down to 4000's by the end of October, AMZN may break into a new high above 200! LOLOL Internet stocks have really outdone Tulipmania by hundreds fold, IMO.
