<OT>Ditto on SNL, it's been years since I caught anything more than a snippit. It was uneven at the best of times. As for Leno, I always preferred Letterman, the more Leno was on the less I liked him. I remember Leno as really funny when he was occasional guest host. When he started almost explicitly copying Letterman mannerisms, video bits, even doing Joey Buttafucco jokes, I wrote him off. People do give him credit for a better monologue, with better writing behind it, which was never Letterman's strength. Maybe he copied beating things into the ground from Letterman too, sans irony as usual.

This is all ancient history of course, I see hardly any TV. Gave up Letterman, my last regular viewing, when I got 2 months behind on tape, also years ago. Bit of local news here and there, and a bunch of, er, family fare, mostly on video.

Cheers, Dan.
