Hi Jack,
Antimina is a big bite for a company of Teck's size. Their sales, if I remember correctly were only $650mm last year and are sure to be less this year. Apart from the cash received from issuing the "Inco" debenture, I expect that Teck will have to raise some money sometime in the near future (1999 sometime?) to cover their 25% of capital costs. No doubt they are praying that commodity prices and their share prices will be higher at that time.

I concur with your comment on Heathe Steele, Brunswick and Kidd Creek.
I won't consider owning any of these stocks until Antimina is up and running. Besides, there are better priced and leveraged ways to play non-ferrous base metals than owning shares in these companies.
