You might want to lighten up on your position too. Gold could make a major move soon and if Kemess news is only neutral we could easily see $3.00 in the next couple of months.

Just my opinion.

Check out the Globe and Mail article. It speaks of 250,000 ounces per year a cash cost of $75 or so taking into account the profits from copper sales.

That's a net return of over $60 million per year at current prices. The $125 million loan can easily be repaid in a few short years. According to the Globe and Mail the lenders would want to give Royal Oak every chance to succeed.

Try to be a little more balanced.

Michael, If Japan bites the bullet gold will recover. If Japan fishtails and does not kill the walking dead this will persist.
