While smart money hasn't been particularly smart about Apple, still it's got to make someone with a large position a little nervous.

Indeed, they make me nervous too.

I know some analysts are fairly dumb, but one thing I do assume: they get earlier access to market analysis and press releases. That's what they do, and they put lots of time and money into getting a hold of a rumour, a press release (how much is a bloomberg terminal?), and market analysis. Generally speaking, I expect them to be ahead of us in that respect...

On the positive side, the stock is not being heavily shorted either, so the figures cannot be that bad...
