NEEDHAM, Mass., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Ziff-Davis (NYSE: ZD - news) today announced that COMDEX/Fall '98
will feature eight major IT players will participate in morning and afternoon keynotes. All keynote presentations will be held
adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center at the Las Vegas Hilton, giving attendees easier access to these presentations
than ever before. The presentations will take place during COMDEX/Fall '98, November 16-20, 1998, in Las Vegas.

COMDEX keynotes have set the pace for new IT trends, and have become the leading platform for industry giants to
announce major product launches, strategic alliances and business initiatives. This year's lineup is the finest and largest ever,
beginning with a Sunday night kickoff and continuing with morning and late afternoon presentations through Wednesday. All
eight presentations will be held in the Hilton Center at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Attendees can expect to hear Microsoft's latest technology strategies directly from its Chairman and CEO when Bill Gates
returns to COMDEX/Fall on Sunday evening for a 7 p.m. keynote. In his presentation, ''Today and Beyond: Innovation,
Integration and Simplification,'' Mr. Gates will discuss Microsoft's current research and development programs.


Three morning keynote presentations are planned for 8:30 a.m. [MEDIA NOTE: New earlier time.] on their respective day.
On Monday, Jeff Papows, President of IBM division Lotus Development Corporation, will address the revolutionary changes
that businesses of all sizes are undergoing as they release and then harness the collective knowledge base of employees,
partners and customers around the world. On Tuesday, Computer Associates' Chairman and CEO Charles Wang will offer
his insight into major industry trends. Wednesday will feature two keynote presenters: Rick Thoman, President and COO of
Xerox Corporation [NYSE:XRX - news], and John Seely Brown, Xerox chief scientist and director of Xerox PARC at
Xerox Corporation. Together they will discuss Xerox's future in, ''Fumbling the Future, Not! Patent, Produce and Profit...''

In addition, for the first time at COMDEX/Fall, attendees will be able to sit back and listen to the viewpoints of top executives
from the IT industry at three afternoon keynotes. These presentations will begin at 4:30 p.m. on their respective day. Michael
Dell, chairman and CEO of Dell Computer Corporation [Nasdaq:DELL - news], will give his first COMDEX keynote
presentation on Monday afternoon. Mr. Dell founded Dell Computer in 1984 with $1,000, and by using this innovative
direct-marketing approach, Dell Computer Corporation has become one of the top five vendors of PCs worldwide. Tuesday
sees the President of Intel Corporation [Nasdaq:INTC - news], Craig Barrett, outlining his vision for Intel and the computer
