Lawrence - re: "Note that this problem is due
to limitations of the software algorithms, and is not indicative of a problem with the processor itself, which is functioning properly. "

Why are there LIMITATIONS in the software ONLY WHEN IT RUNS ON AN AMD K6-2 at 350 MHZ or higher?

Why does the exact same software run on Intel Pentium II's at 350 MHz, 400 MHz, 450 MHz, 500 MHz and 533 MHz?

LL, re:"fail to execute properly on the AMD-K6-2 processor"

Look, Win95 has been in the market for three years. Are you saying that AMD has a mission to highlight MS bugs of the past? Why don't they make parts that just work? Any reputable company would have tested the thing - and not released until it worked with the #1 installed OS.
