Raymond, The important factor in God giving you the truth is that you truly want to know it. If you have pre-conceived notions what the truth is, or you fully do not desire to know God's truth, then you won't get it. In fact, Satan will probably take the chance to lead you further astray. Pray, with an open heart and mind, desiring the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and God will give it to you. It's a guarantee. Where most go astray in the process is that they fully don't want to know the truth or they want to believe the truth they think is correct and never open themselves up to the real truth, God's truth!
