Dear flickerful: Please forgive me, without introduction I must pray as per your request. Oh! how your heart must be so reconciled to God. What a wonderful request you have made. So full of faith and the heart of God. Yom Kippur, Yom Kippur. The day of atonement. What shall those do that have reserved their hearts for the Lord but have relied on the blood of the goat , or oxen , or of a turtle dove to atone or cover the sin of a nation or nations; whose hearts are so inclined to settle disputes or resolve spiritual matters but have still the spot or stain of sin on their lives; when they have known and continue to know that God has required only the perfect unblemished sacrifice. Oh how the heart of the Lord aches and his Holy Spirit groans when He sees hearts seeking happiness and joy and protection for families, and hears cries of "forgive us Father" for we have sinned, but these same cries are void because of misunderstanding of His divine plan and work of salvation. Let all of Heaven fall silent as the Father weeps; as he cradles His head in His arms and as His tears flow freely. Dare a man to lift up a hand or head in His presence as the contemplation of a righteous God demanding holiness is revealed to the earth. But one more time, perhaps the last time will God say I stay my judgement upon the earth, I have changed my mind one more time that I will deny the harsh decree I have purposed in my heart, and have lifted judgement one more time. The earth and all of heaven rejoices and cries of relief perhaps one last time permeate the earth and all of heaven, perhaps one last time. Would all that have ears hear the word of the Lord. His plan for salvation in Christ Jesus is still alive. The days of grace have been extended for a short season. The kingdom of the Lord is at hand. While there is still time, may peace with God through His only begotten Son, Christ the Lord..Amen.
