On what basis? The 2400c bundle -- even with the 240MHz G3 -- is cheaper, faster, has more memory, longer battery life, a software bundle, a cool carry case ... and is not DOG ASS UGLY like the Portege! :@

Best of all, aside from the hardware only comparison, I don't have to go anywhere near the Windows OS. Ichh! ... Poo!

I don't know what the second set of specs you posted refer to or which Powerbook you're referring to. On *my* post I copied the Portege 7000 specs from your link.

On full size active matrix Powerbooks:

233MHz/12"/32/2G/24X/56K is $2299.

233MHz/14"/32/2G/24X/56K is $2799.

266MHz/14"/64/4G/24X/56K is $3499.
