Do I sense just the teeniest, weeniest bit of rancour here?

A tinge of bitterness in the air, almost ineffable?

I drive a 1988 Acura 4-door sedan. Now officially eleven years of age and climbing.

It has no carpets, because one day I inadvertently turned on the auto sprinkler system at my house and it put about fifteen gallons of water through the open window of the car. So I had to tear out the carpets and the underlying foam after they mildewed.

It has no hubcaps. They were stolen on the street one day. I have not seen fit to replace them, although every time I pass a late '80's Acura with hubcaps I am attempted to commit a minor felony (yes -- felony. The complete set is about $250.00. I was shocked to find, as they're not even made of metal).
