Given that its you we are talking about, 118 is actually the number I would have used. the reason I say this is that you watch the intraday and play the real time. If you are doing that, you can actually usie the modified gap rules for a better spread than the standard full gap guidelines. I say this to the thread because Jay is very good at setting his entry marks and watches the tick. I don't suggest that anyone who hasn't paper traded and then live traded do this. There is more risk and it requires ones attention and a certain command of your willpower to not over trade and pull the trigger too soon.

I would also ignore the first trade at 117 and used the minimum as 117.5 as there was no continued trades at the 117 level - it was an opening play and as a single spike can be discounted.
