Hi Flick <as the news may well have already been absorbed> (that GS would postpone). I may be paranoid, but lately with all the "GSachs may postpone" non-fact press releases, I was smelling a rat. I actually thought that may have been used as a good set up for a short covering rally of the magnitude Bill's been calling for, if they were to "surprise" us with IPOing after a potential rate cut. I'm relieved they're not IPOing as we may now have a shot at returning to reasonable valuations. No wonder Abby's been spreading the message that "this isn't your father's stock market anymore" when they wanted to come out of the shoot at 4X book. regards, Tom
