Thanks for the update. Not a pretty sight.

I was particularly interested in the "Chinese wall" part of the story.
I have wondered what they were going do to try to address that risk. I
am a bit skeptical; but perhaps traders in the affected markets can
better address it.

I also invite you to take a look at today's edition of the South
China Morning Post (http://www.scmp.com) in the Business
section. An interesting article appears detailing some of very
recent increases in borrowing costs to hedge funds. An entirely
unsurprising response, in my view. ( I am sorry but I cannot
hotlink the site for some reason.)

May be their will be a little more humility and understanding, the next time Greenspan, Rubin or any of the western free market advocates tell the world how best to run their affairs. On second thought, I doubted.
