The German Election Outcome IS Indeed Interesting.

I had a chat with a good friend of mine today from Germany. The younger people are happier with the change. The older folks are not as relaxed in the West.

>>1. Germany has only followed other European countries in moving to the left.<

I think it may be a reflection of their dissatisfaction with their prosperity to date. The East was the electorate that placed them there. The Vest vill hav to git Vused to it.

>>2. A continued global move to the left will likely occur with more "economic contraction" which hurts us little people who vote. <<

This can be averted. But it takes leadership.

>>3. Political moves to the left in the past have lead to increases in the rate of money supply, increased borrowing (initially public and then private sector), higher interest rates, and inflation in the cost of goods and service<<

Yup.

>> Will commodity price increases be lead by price increases in copper or gold?<<

Copper yes. Gold has other considerations. It may be 1999 before we know.

>>I am uncertain about timing, but certain that there are profits to be made here.<

At this point, timing may be less of a concern than which company you decide to invest in,or if you are buying physical, what denomination you chose and where you live in the world.

Stay tuned.................:-)

Teevee - in the light of what you say why do you see gold lower in the next 6 months - seems to be a contradiction there? Enigma
