md1 - Probably a reaction to the opening arguments in the Washington Case. The SBUX agreement seemed to be the reason for the rally, then a little more profit-taking from those investors still not wholly convinced of a settlement. BTW, Stephen Leeb, editor of Personal Finance Newsletter states in the most recent issue that MO is a "disaster-proof" stock and excellent for these choppy market conditions, and economic downturns.
