Yet another pump and dump. Don't forget VVUS/CMND/DSYS/OAKT/EGHT..., several similar priced stocks with similar price dropping history.

...unless they're a hedge fund that shorted the sector including ESST and now is getting Margin and Loan repayment pressure. In unwinding its positions, that would cause buying pressure on the shorted stocks.

I suspect we'll probably see several severely beaten down stocks go up on abnormally high volume with no apparent news.

If what you said is true, then they are staying away from all the following companies who are priced at $6.00 and below:

IDT, S3, Trident, Oak Technology, Cirrus Logic, ISSI, SST, and MLIN.

And I don't think most of the companies will go bankrupt soon. Therefore there's bargain in this pool.

There were 30,000, and 50,000, 50,000 blocks of trading today.
It looked like someone is buying because the price is going upward.
