Server sales up at Micron electronics. This backsup Intel's optimism about the Q, and the news reports on Xeon based servers being supply constrained.

John - Re: " I realize this is a small amount to you..but what do you think ..is this a good time to short it? "

This is an excellent time to short Intel - excellent.

Intel could be headed into the low $60s - according to many on this thread and, especially, Tom Kurlak, a self-professed Intel expert at Merrill Lynch - chief bail out financier of Long Term Capital Mismanagement.

Of course, Kurlak and company said this when Intel was in the low $70s, but what's a $15 or $18 swing the wrong way?

Gene Parrott keeps making detailed reasoned explanations about why Intel won't grow anymore - so Intel, in a prolonged , non-growth mode, could go even lower than $60 - perhaps much lower.

A well known investor A - Mr. Fuchi Wu - has expressed his considered opinion that Intel should even trade for $20 - or perhaps even lower.

In light of these opinions, yes, Short Intel, by all means. AT $20 per share, you can net a profit of $67+ on each share you short.

You stand a good chance of making a small fortune, John, should Intel falter - as many, many people believe it will.

By all means, go for it !
