Katherine, since the feature width are going to be in the .13 to .25 microns, I doubt the "thickness will be anywhere near .5 microns. I think we can divide by a factor of 20 your figure, or roughly 400 grams, which is about $3000 in platinum costs and probably $20,000 in the form of for instance Platinum 2,4 Pentanedionate. Other organo platinates cost much more.
