So, I take it we all support insurance costs being part of fuel costs. For all of the reasons and frustrations we've elucidated; which would become irrelevant.

The only way everyone pays.

Even those without licenses, cars, and occasion to steal one; yet who may have a lawn mower or chainsaw.

(Texas chain-saw murders would be covered as "accident".)

Ya don't even have to catch or prosecute people for having no insurance. Like that's a profitable use of politzei and juris. C'mon, people. Forget trying to catch people, just make 'em pay. Every, every, single person. You don't have to have companies collect; you don't have to have cops ask them; you don't have to PAY for them by carrying un-insured drivers insurance. You have the intention to drive, you gonna put gas in your car, you gonna pay for insurance. No way out. Unless you make the gas yourself. If you're on the road, you're insured.

It's actually fairly efficient. It's symmetric. (In a certain literary or conceptual or heck even real sense.)

I think, (uh oh), it's actually just a little scary, because it wipes away so many of the outdated mechanisms. Gimme some good drawbacks, or Hi-Lift those Edsels off yer open minds. Flex and flexibility. (Zane Austin.)

Bottle deposits are "symmetric", because the person who litters, pays the people who clean up their litter. Except in Nevada, where the roadsides glisten, and you better have your shoes on.

Embarrassed is waht you'd'a'got for your dime. Two cast lead wadcutters - one in the power steering box, the other in the stereo. Give her something to remember you by. Shoot dead - well I won't even bother quoting rates. If ya gotta ask...

It's a shame the police didn't arrest her. Is there any chance of recovery in a civil suit? That would probably cost more than you could get. Small claims? I too am sick of people getting away with things they shouldn't.

If you had a plumber in the family then for sure you'd be in the top 5%.ggg

Taxes, I don't know. A flat tax encourages people to earn more but on the other hand a well to do person has more disposable income so a graduated tax seems fair also. I do feel that real estate taxes on homes are unfair. Maybe do like England and mix in a head tax.
