LSI has been doing the Cu thing: "At the time of introduction of the G12 product, LSI Logic is not including copper metallization. The reason being that at this juncture copper-based metallization is immature and does not yet provide clear overall product benefits. LSI Logic has been working with copper for sometime now and will be introducing the capability into the product offering when copper manufacturing is more compatible with LSI Logic's broad range of high volume, application specific products." The bit about "not yet provide clear overall product benefits" is the INTC line. Shane (entered the contest!)
