Dang, the NYT Web site seems to be under attack again or submerged fro other reasons, I was going to look up another question there. Mr. Hooker is of course quite off base on this one, as I've pointed out a number of times the NYT has not been kind to Clinton in my memory. Of course, for Mr. Hooker, "liberal" is as offensive an insult as anything on jbe's list, and applies to anything to the left of the WSJ editorial page, so I wouldn't pay too much attention. Once they get their site stabilized, I recommend the NYT highly; politics aside, they have the best writing by fair of any daily paper I've seen, and the most in-depth coverage. As for Mr. Hooker's last little slur, If you sent your 21 year old daughter to work at the Whitehouse and the President screwed your daughter..did he have a sexual affair with her or not?? There's some question about whether that's what her mother sent her there for in the first place. She wrote this kiss and tell book about an (imaginary?) affair with Placido Domigo.
