According to this article it looks like we might only be seeing the the beginning of a hedge fund debacle. It'll only make an edgy market even more cautious.

It'll be interesting to see how the markets respond to whatever the fed does today. Loosening too much could be interpreted as a sign that the fed believes the hedge funds, and the markets, are weaker than is apparent now. No change in rates and the markets will also tank.

As Frederick Fleet once said, "Iceberg, right ahead!". Might be a good time to hold some cash aside for the buying opportunities ahead.
