A delayed response/thought re average volume ... I charted the average volume for the tech industry leaders (e.g. MSFT, CSCO, INTC). They all show decreases in average volumes over the last few weeks. I do not feel that it is that clearly related to the DELL stock split. It likely represents less money going into the market (no surprise here) and more redemptions by profit takers. I do not think it bodes badly for DELL specifically. Just a reflection of the market and industry?
