Unfortunately I am already upto my eyeball in Oct out of money puts purchased at exactly the wrong time. :( So I am in for a sweaty palm gamble whether I like it or not. :( With little funds remaining I am buying Nov out of monies. But I do agree with you in that Oct 60 puts have a decent chance of going in the money. ( I am pretty negative for the October market outlook).

Hmm...while that would be nice, do you really think AMZN will close down 18 5/8 points? How much you want to bet on that. An Italian sports car? Let me know before the market opens.

My predictions still stand. No new highs for AMZN this millennium, and it will close down tomorrow....oops make that today. Tomorrow is today, not tomorrow is tomorrow. $-)

I think your prediction was just one day too early! This morning, Nikkei broke the key support at 13,500. GLOBEX declined 900 basis points in response. I think this is a great signal that the bear market is about to resume starting NOW. We shall see some volatile drops in averages as we have seen in late August. AMZN could get crushed in such an environment. AMZN will open gap down this morning and go lower from there forming the 'hanging man' pattern. I believe it has a good shot at closing below 100 as you have predicted.

Finally relief for the long suffering AMZN bears!! - At least I hope.

AMZN Permabear in ICU, but feeling a little better now!
