Jim,

The IBM display is still a prototype, not a commercial product. It says as much in the article. Don't underestimate the amount of time it takes to turn a prototype into a product -- everything from graphics interface cards to software drivers to manufacturing processes. I think you're talking at least a year before it's in the production state; and that's assuming IBM decides to make it a general-purpose computer display.
