Transformation Processing Inc. Signs Contract With The
Town Of Markham, Canada's High Tech Capital For Year 2000
Non-IT Discovery

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Transformation Processing Inc. (TPI) announced
that it has signed a contract with The Town of Markham, Ontario,
to provide Year 2000 Embedded Systems Discovery Consulting
services in support of the municipality's Year 2000 program. The
Town of Markham is located in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario,
Canada. Population of the town is 190,000.

John Hodgson, Director of IT at The Town of Markham, Canada's
High-Tech Capital, stated "TPI's exposure in the municipal sector
and its experience in helping other organizations transition their
Year 2000 projects is of significant value to us."

The announcement was made by Asif Khan, TPI's Director of
Marketing, who stated, "A typical municipality's Non IT Year 2000
issue spans the gamut of embedded technology. From traffic lights
to sports facilities, to fire stations, The Town of Markham, using
TPI's Non IT Year 2000 solution, will be ready for the next
millennium."

An embedded system is the code that is built into special purpose
microchips that inhabit just about every modern electronic device.
They are found in power plants, manufacturing facilities, water
and sewage systems, medical devices and military equipment. The
list also includes planes, trains, ships, automobiles, elevators,
telephones, alarm systems and a multitude of other equipment
devices.

Transformation Processing Inc. is an Information Technology
company that develops and markets software and services enabling
companies worldwide to automatically migrate their application
programs and data from legacy systems to open system and
client/server environments. TPI has evolved from providing AS/400
legacy code migration services to a company supporting four lines
of business: Client Server Migration, Year 2000 IT and Non-IT
Solutions, Groupware and Support Services. In addition, the
Company's ability to scan code to diagnose Year 2000 problems, as
well as perform similar diagnostic procedures on embedded chips
positions it as an industry leader in this area.
