"If above code is placed in a scan, will it place the output of the scan into a directory c:\meta\grace\ ? Is the idea here to have a separate directory to view under say MSWIN? It would seem that Advanced GET would not benefit from the separate directory?

Yes-YES- and no GET can create a separate- directory which when all other directories are clicked off can be the basis for a GET scan.

"If you run the scan on say two days, will the code add to the files in the directory, or will it reset the contents to zero and start anew?"

It will reset anew each day- thus if you run the scan for multiple days- you can capture "x' number of days each day. The code:
for x = -10 to 0 step 1 do

will allow for the accumulation of days in a virtual output directory.
