Just that the technology doesn't seem to be at the stage where removable media is up to the wear and tear of everyday use. Syquest has been doing this for a long time, successfully too, but the Sparq wasn't up to being everyman's backup. I wouldn't use one for backup. CDR/W is the only sufficiently reliable media, imho.
