caissa:

re: computer graphics sector getting beat up.

A few sectors getting beat up now (ie: chips) so we're not alone.

ATI getting beat up bad today on fairly heavy volume. $14.15 on 625K right now.

Jeez, it looks cheap now. I wonder if this is earnings related.

Kelvin

"Any idea why the computer graphics sector in particular is getting beat up? "

Could be related to the U.S. not getting the interest cut they wanted. Speculation will be that there will be less buying in this industry, and less video cards as a result.

If this stock carries on its trend, it goes up, although it broke the $15.00 support level which isn't good, and on heavy volume.

Good luck, Al

Not really
S3 Diamond, STB,3D Labs and Neomagic are all up!!

The Neomagic press release could be a reason for the decline of ATI??
