Tokyo, "Small-mindedness"? Have you ever been to Mexico? I have; I'm not touting myself as an expert on Mexican culture, but I have seen a breadth and depth of poverty there that made me sick. The lower classes are exploited by the middle and upper. The class system is very pronounced there. That is not "small-mindedness" on my part; that is reality. People ARE different in different cultures in many ways. Yes, too, in many ways they are universally alike. You are making gross generalizations about my mindset that doesn't deserve any more of my response time. Nancy
