Some very good news indicates improving company strength! VCLL can borrow money cheaper elsewhere. Must have earned confidence of other lender.

ThermaCell to Buy Back $250,000 in Remaining Convertible Preferred

SARASOTA, Fla., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- ThermaCell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLL -news, VCLLW - news) has signed an agreement to buy back and retire approximately $250,000 in 8% Series B convertible Preferred Stock. This constitutes the balance remaining of a $1.5 million February 1998 private placement with Thomson Kernaghan & Co. of Toronto, Canada.

John Pidorenko, Chairman, President and CEO of ThermaCell, said that due to a more favorable interest rate environment and improved prospects for the Company, ThermaCell expects to finance the transaction through a conventional term loan. He said this will eliminate the need to issue any additional Common Shares related to the Series B conversion.
