Sonki. Alright. What did you buy just before 2 pm? gg. I did not find the right opportunity. I am looking at LU tomorrow if it goes down again. This sell-off in LU is what I call "guilt by association". And now it looks like the sell-off in NT may have been overdone. The analyst's had a united front on that story. Nobody understood exactly what the company had to say. NT tried to clarify it after the market closed but I don't think analyst's are clear yet what they said. One thing seems to be clear. Earnings for the qtr. are in line but then there is this confusing story about sales and nothing was mentioned about 99 supposedly. But then again, something is to be lower then. gg. I am sure it will be figured out by tomorrow. I do think that LU has a clearer picture than that.

One real good thing I heard after the market closed is about our WCOM. Did you hear that WCOM orig. expected to write-off 6 to 7 bill. due to the merger with MCI ? Remember that huge float of bonds or whatever it was to pay for that merger? Well, they came out and stated that the write-off will only be about 3 bill. Hm, what a difference. Should be great for that stock tomorrow if investors have any brains. gg.

Well, we got a rate cut. At least the musings on that are not controversial. It's not the 3 bears story. I have not heard anybody that thinks it's just right.

Happy with Merck today?
