AMD is STILL SHIPPING The flawed part. I wonder if Compaq and IBM will take on the additional work of testing it on the wide range of applications or ship broken systems to the unsuspecting consumer

BTW, saying that it is a timing loop problem is NOT SUFFICIENT, since it is something that is specific to the K6 that has caused it.

AMD should publish exactly what caused the problem (the section of the code), and show why it WONT OCCUR in OTHER APPLICATIONS (They owe the consumer at least that).
