Skeeter, more wacky analyst math:

Analysts' reports Tuesday morning also indicated Micron Technology's proposed acquisition of Texas Instruments' memory business (TXN) could be delayed into October instead of closing Sept. 30. The company told analysts the acquisition costs will hurt earnings by 25 cents a share to 30 cents a share for at least the next four quarters. .

Uh...let's break that down:

"...acquisition costs will hurt earnings by 25 cents a share to 30 cents a share for at least the next four quarters"

and yet...

"Not all analysts are including those costs in their estimates, and instead are treating them as one-time charges."

I think we've just seen the birth of totally new accounting anomaly...

...the recurring one-time charge!

Good trading,
