I just heard last few sentences on CNBC regarding the Nortel/Bay deal. Lucent was also mentioned. I have no idea what they were referring to as I only caught the tail end. Anybody? Pat hughes

By looking at the Nortel thread I feel extremely fortunate to be in the ASND camp. Just think if you were originally a Wellfleet or Synoptics shareholder, splits and going through the roof. Then the Bay merger, thinking the synergies of both of these companies are going to produce a Cisco only to find out it's been turned into a dog. Then the dog finds a big home and is being turned into dog food. Do you think there are any Bay engineers left at Nortel that are worth a darn? Man, if I was a Bay shareholder I think I'd find a high window. How sad. If ASND is bought by anybody IM SELLING AT THE PEAK! VERY fortunately, the ASND / CSCC merger worked out but that's all the chances Im taking!!!
