A big writedown in Brazil doesn't sound like it has anything to do with Bay Networks.

This is exactly why Microsoft, Dell, Cisco are such excelent stocks to hold. They would never have staged something like this and timed it so perfectly awfully what with the fed meeting as we speak.

Nortel now on many investors list of managments not to trust.

Not a way to get a good multiple, and they've seen to that now for quite a while.
