is there anyone out there who still thinks this is going to be a minor problem?

has anyone noticed that we arent talking about the economic impact of rate cuts, we are talking about the market impact. that should end any discussion of a rate cut being anything other than a prop for an overextended market.

Indeed, since GS has not stated a future date for IPO, it has been "cancelled". The permanence of such decision is unclear (by design), so I'm not sure that cancelled, postponed, delayed are markedly different. I'd be floored if GS were to dismiss any future hope of IPO. <g>

Thanks for the S&P stuff. Looks like the new economy is dawning.
