Tomato Man, the news release is on the FNTN site now.
It's at the bottom of the front page.
Regards
Dan

Heyy TMan,
Thanks, found it per your directions. biz.yahoo.com
I will call AOL and find out why they are so pokey in getting this
news online. The old well sheesh Yahoo had it since 10:54, hmm

As a result of musings on the
future of Data Warehousing and how it relates to FNTN, I had a thought.
Engelberger, with his expertise in machine intelligence, could be a BIG plus in the DW area. The main difficulty in accessing data from a DW facility is that the query (search) returns too many items! The best answer to this problem (familiar to anyone who does internet searches) is to refine your terms (Boolean strings) in order to limit the responses. AI (Artificial Intelligence), or, as I prefer to call it, machine intelligence (intelligence is intelligence), offers the possibility of the search to be automatically refined dependant upon the knowledge the system has, and can LEARN, about the particular user and their needs and history. Should FNTN develop, or make use of, an intelligent agent as part of the interface to the Warehouse (and other data-rich areas), they would be well ahead of others (except the Defense department!)

All the best,
M.

ps: "Waldo" can run the Data Warehouse.
