Re: "formerly Osicom...", here's what they mean: NetSilicon is a division of Osicom Technologies, formerly known as DPI and headed by Corneleous "Pete" Peterson. This is the division that has provided internet-ready (IP) printer solutions for almost all of the major printer companies, and was purchased about 2 years ago by Osicom. They now are offering embedded networking solutions for an almost limitless universe of equipment that can be monitored or controlled via the inter/intranet. Osicom has announced that this division will be spun off either via a rights offering to current Osicom shareholders, or possibly via an IPO of around 47%, with the balance of shares given to current Osicom shareholders. Thus the slightly inaccurate reference to "formerly Osicom...".
