NAPIER CUSTOMERS EXPAND AEROSPACE BUSINESS
______________________________________________________________________________
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada September 29, 1998
Napier International Technologies Inc. (NIR.TSE) is pleased to update progress of several of our aircraft refurbishing customers who have recently secured significant refurbishing contracts that will increase their business and Napier's sales of its SV-35A aircraft paint stripper.
Dean Baldwin Painting has been a customer of Napier's since April of 1998 and has been operating out of two locations; in Roswell, New Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona. A recent contract was awarded for the stripping of two Boeing 737's and two 727's. Three of the four crafts have been completed with the fourth scheduled for completion.
Dean Baldwin Painting has informed Napier that they will be opening a third refurbishing facility as they have been awarded a contract to strip 15 Beechcraft 1900's for a regional commuter airline. The client has informed Napier that it will use SV-35A exclusively for its stripping requirements until further notice.
Harrington Industries of Akin, South Carolina commenced using SV-35A in July'98 at a rate of 4 drums per month. Harrington has won a contract to strip 91 Beech 100's of which 3 have now been completed and the balance are being scheduled. This contract will increase Harrington's consumption as they expect to maintain at least as much product use from other scheduled contracts.
Finally, Air Cover Inc. of Phillipsburg, Ohio, one of Napier's longest standing customers has made a decision to move into a much larger facility. Air Cover is in the final stages of scheduling a government contract to strip 500 Cessena 172/182 and 206's. The move will also see an increase in the size of aircraft now to be stripped by Air Cover, up to the size equivalent of the Citation C-4.
Napier's SV-35 environmentally friendly and effective line of paint strippers is now commonly used for stripping aircrafts of virtually every size and model. This proven track record of performance and safety continues to aid Napier's sales team in increasing our market participation in North America.

Today's News release + Catching up on the posts...

Steve - NIR has a lot going for it and one by one key linkages and clients are coming on board.

I'm now looking forward to News of the ICI order whether it's just the Canadian distributorship sale or that combined with the worldwide distributorship order. There are also the K-G and Aquasol linkages that we'll soon be hearing more about.

For now I'm forced to devote a lot more time to my other work-related commitments. However, I'm continuing to follow NIR closely and I'm looking forward to what lies ahead for Napier over the next several months.

Napier continues to move in the right direction and once it 'matures' a tad - and is recognized for what it represents - then we'll see a much stronger share price. The annual report that's due at the end of the year will make for some fine reading! Till then I'll continue to add to my position when I can.

Today's News (that Gino has posted) again reaffirms my belief that Napier will continue grow, prosper and become a dominant player in its sector.

It just keeps getting better and better and the share price should begin to start reflecting this potential - sooner rather than later :-)

David.
