Elmer,
Re -- I am beginning to wonder just what it is that you add to this or any other thread?

I suggest you read my previous posts on the K6 problem VERY VERY CAREFULLY. You will find a wealth of information on possible AMD actions on dealing with this issue.

Let me give you a typical example

When I asked the quesion "What exactly is the problem?". If you consider that comment CAREFULLY, you will know that we still dont know what the problem is. People have assumed that it is a K6 problem, it could be a problem with chipset (IOS.VXD is an initialization of the IO subsystem).

Obviously you are not at the level where you think clearly.

Stockman, I really hate to say this to a fellow "Intellabee" but I am beginning to wonder just
what it is that you add to this or any other thread?

Dr. Elmer,
As you posted a message to Maxwell, Intel is not and would not sell a flawed CPU intentionally. Intel is a Superb company with resources. I have dealt with their engineers since 1984. They will work with you to debug and correct logic errors optimize and so on. It is disgusting to call them names and disturbing to lower the value of work of the scientist of both AMD and INTC by causing panic. My answer is simple; if you think IBM, Intel, Microsoft, AMD and HP products are flawed or bugged then stay the hell away from them. It is easy to say something is bad or flawed without having a clue. The above companies and similar ones will survive because they work honestly and HARD.

Best regards,
sa
