You know something? I agree. But the Seragin deal may have been done knowing the ELAN deal was in the works. Picking up more products and contemplating mergers adds risk but again, I do not know the business like management does. I do believe that this is a great time to make deals or buy biotech companies that are hurting for cash. Bottom line is I have to respect a management that will at least look at the current situation to see how they can benefit rather than doing what seems instinctive, i.e. retrenching and waiting until everything is rosy.
