Well, jbe, as much as I hate to admit it publicly, I'm not enthralled with RNC tactics either -- "selecting" someone to "participate in a poll" when the opinions will only be counted when a campaign contribution is returned ... Right.

While I can't argue too much with your premise for more political parties, I'm not sure that would be a good thing. We have enough trouble in this country with electing people with pluralities instead of majorities. If that plurality gets to be too small, there will be no "political authority" (to coin a term) for any elected officials. Also, distinctions among various positions on issues would become so blurred as to seem meaningless.

But, we digress -- Clinton is a bum, Hillary is a slimeball, and I hope Starr has enough to convict AFTER the resignation / impeachment.
