The insurance companies have done a good job in lobbying the legislature for tougher uninsured motorist laws in Illinois. Uninsured and in a wreck? Even if it's not your fault you pay damages, fines and lose your license for a year or become a guest of the state.

You get stopped and don't have proof of insurance, even if it's a "safety stop" where all traffic is checked, kiss your license good bye for a year. Proof of insurance is required to get a new license at the end of the year. That's usually in the assigned risk pool which is like buying your car every month.

Spice Girl stamps - why stop there? Howzabout Nina Hartley stamps? with flavored backs?

If you don't stop making so much g**d*** sense with yer gas tax, I may be forced to agree with you. You've already won Freddy to the Dark Side. :-)
