Wally - When Barbara & I were there we didn't get to see the videos. I really, really wanted to see them and Barbara was hoping to see them also. I do distance learning via a combination T1/T3, 4 or 8 ports(locations). So I had a vested interest in the video quality from an end users perspective. I know it's not the same, but basically similar. It will be very cost effective and everyone will be squeezing nickels for the next year or two. :) BellBoy

Wally, Sounds like this video system will be what fax was 20 years ago. You'll need to have a partner with the same system to communicate. But what savings in travel for big corporations! If these systems offer a much more "real" experience than current technology plus creating a higher level of security and comfort with the user in highly sensitive transactions and business or even military negotiations for that matter, this could be very hot indeed. This really clarifies just how big this could be. Watching and waiting... Tom F.

Heyy Wally, Very interesting report so far, thanks for your DD ;). Multicasting is soon to be all the rage nice to see we are going in that direction, cannot help but wonder if the IDB deal is even worth persuing at this juncture, while they have very fine products for very affordable prices, the previous mesh just isn't there IMHO. Well we shall find out at some point, glad I am not driving this time with my thoughts racing at the potential for FNTN, lololo. ,, Barbara
