While I do not think CSCO needs to keep its price up by paying dividends, I would not be surprised to see smaller good companies doing it as a way of getting their abysmal share price up in these low interest rate times. (OT - looks like a monumental gaffe in PR for NT - seems like there was total confusion on what message NT was trying to impart to the assembled multitude this am & very little effort to correct the situation even in their 4pm press release. The poor ex-BAY shareholders must be wondering what they have got into!) DaveE
