Re: "What basis did you make this conclusion? Is it "Well noone has really challenged Intel, thus Intel HAS and ALWAYS REMAINED the champ." ? You are a fool Elmer. You don't understand computer architecture. There are weakness in Intel CPUs. Just by exploiting these weaknesses you can develop a better and faster CPU. According to Intel roadmap the Xeon is shipping all the way into 1999. There is no new logic core looming out in 1999."

What basis do I have for making this claim? Why the same basis you have for making your unsubstantiated claim. Why should I prove this to you when you have refused to back up any of your claims? Intel's x86 processors will outperform the K7 at each and every point in it's lifetime. I'll produce the same verifications of my claims that you have presented for yours. You can find them listed below.

Maxwell - Re: "You don't understand computer architecture. There are
weakness in Intel CPUs."

There must be a real weakness in the K6 and K6-2 CPU since AMD is going to a new K7 core.

Didn't that thought ever cross your neurons?

And since the K6 has a real weakness, why do you suddenly conclude that the K7 - unrevealed as of now - will somehow be invincible?

Has someone given you a look into the future?
